The college is now celebrating its one hundred years of illustrious existence. A prestigious programme we intend to organize as part of the celebration is a Two- Day International Conference in June 2010. Its prime objective is to bring together eminent educationists, distinguished teacher educators and scholars from India and abroad to this ‘Mother of Teacher Education institutions’ to discuss, and exchange ideas and experiences in the field of Teacher Education. We have identified Adaptability and Responsiveness in Teacher Education as the key theme.
To ensure a high standard for the deliberations of the conference we are introducing a competitive edge by inviting papers for presentation. Research articles and papers with innovative ideas will be awarded prizes. Papers of indubitable value will also be considered for publication in the Special Centenary issue of GCTE Journal of Research and Extension- a referred journal ISSN 0975-5144
